DoT issued VNO guide lines vide No 800-23/2011-VAS(Vol-II) dated 31.5.2016. Applicant can down load the application form the following link and can apply. These guide lines has been issued on the recommendation of TRAI on 06.01.2015.

Issues

• Potential double taxation through charging of License fee (AGR) and spectrum usage charges on both NSO and VNO is being taken up with DOT and necessary License amendment is under process after Telecomm Commission approved the removal of double taxation for UL-VNO Licensees on 11th July’2018.

• National Telecom policy 2018 discussion and consultation were held in DoT and NTP-2018 is likely to be released anytime.

VNOAI partners Informa UK, and participates in MVNOs Asia 2017 Conference, at Singapore, in Sep 2017

The MVNOs Asia 2017 conference and exhibition was held in Singapore on 26th & 27th September 2017. Mr. Rakesh kumar Upadhyay, the Director General of VNOAI, participated in a panel discussion on “Why is India an attractive Market for MVNOs?” He emphasised his views on how the market has evolved, and how various brands and aspiring MVNOs are taking advantage of the tremendous possibilities afforded by the Indian market.
